BACDYS offers a unique opportunity for college and graduate students to create content that thoughtfully tells the personal stories of east New Yorkers. These stories remind us why we do the work we do while deepening our knowledge of community issues.
Every month, the digital storytelling intern will conduct one interview of an east New York resident and produce content that depicts the resident’s life story. The intern may use a variety of digital storytelling tools, including text, photography, video, audio, and/or graphic illustrations. Internships last up to 1 year.
Your completed project will be published on the BACDYS blog. Stories of extraordinary merit may be considered for publication in the annual BACDYS magazine.
If you would like to become a digital storytelling intern, send your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
