Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I find a vaccination location?

Those eligible can find vaccine locations and make appointments at vaccinefinder.nyc.gov or by calling (877) VAX4NYC for assistance. Appointments are based on availability, which is limited due to limited supply.

  • How old do I need to be to receive a vaccination?

It has never been easier to get a COVID-19 vaccination in NYC. People 5 and older are eligible for the vaccine. Those who are fully vaccinated can more safely gather with friends and enjoy other benefits of vaccination, so get your shot today.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is now available for children ages 5 to 11. The vaccine dose for this age group is smaller than the dose given to people 12 and older.

  • Where can my child get vaccinated?

Children can get vaccinated at their doctor's office, pharmacies, and vaccine sites across the city. Vaccine booster shots are now available for all fully vaccinated people 12 and older.

  • Where can I get tested?

We encourage everyone to check regularly. Continue to get tested for Covid-19! It's FREE, confidential, and available at a location near you. Go to NYC.Gov/COVIDTest and visit a testing site today.

  • Where can I learn more about the vaccine?
